Ice Production
The Ice-O-Matic GEMU090 is an undercounter ice maker, finished with joined storage bin. This ice maker makes up to 85 lbs of nugget ice every 24 hours, under excellent air and water temperature circumstances. The ice bin which is inside has a storage volume of 22 lbs.
The GEMU090 is air-cooled and has a self-contained condenser.
The GEMU090 has a control panel which is simple to utilize and is placed beyond the swing-style door.
Installation Options
The ice maker's slender shape allows installation of this unit in nearly any place, you just need plumbing and electrical power.
The GEMU090 can be put beneath a counter or assembled into cabinetry or a convention equipment arrangement. There is a unique stainless steel cabinet which permits the ice maker to be placed as a free standing unit. This ice machine is great for hotel rooms, executive suites, break rooms, the deck patio, or under the bar.
What makes this ice maker simple to install is a normal NEMA 5-15 three-prong plug and 115 Volt power cord. This ice maker needs a 1/4" (6mm) water connection and compression fitting is supplied. The GEMU090 also needs a drain, with a 5/8" drain access which is placed at the bottom rear of the unit. If there isn't a reachable floor drain, a voluntary drain pump kit is obtainable (KPU090- which is sold separately).
The GEMU090 utilizes 12 gallons of water and 10.7 kWH for each 100 pounds of nugget ice made. The least circuit amps for the GEMU090 are 5 Amps. This ice machine can function below air temps as low as 50 degrees F and as big as 100 degrees F.
You can have this ice maker not sit right on the floor because it comes with four 1" adjustable legs.
Pearl Ice
The Nugget formed ice, called Pearl Ice from the manufacturer Ice-O-Matic, is a well-liked ice style. The nugget ice defrosts in your mouth and is mushy and chewable. Many casual dining and fast food chain restaurants use nugget ice.
The Ice-O-Matic GEMU090 can make 85 lbs of nugget ice in 24 hours. The ice bin is acquired by starting the front door.
The nugget ice is fresh and discharged from smell and bacteria.
