The Scotsman MC0530MA-1 Prodigy ELITE Air Cooled Cube Style Ice Machine produces medium size cube ice. This model has a production capacity of 525 pounds over a 24 hour period. It features a self-contained air-cooled condenser. The ice maker utilizes an R-404A refrigerant. This is a modular ice machine head and it does not include any ice storage. The unit can be matched with the Scotsman B330P, B530P, and B530S ice storage bins (sold separately).
Scotsman's Preservation Mode feature adds a useful failsafe for efficient power use. Rather than shutting off, this machine will kick into Preservation Mode when it encounters a freeze/harvest anomaly.
The product utilizes an integrated ICELINQ app, which can provide real-time diagnostics, help with monitoring functions and maintenance issues, and track cleaning schedules. This ice machine also includes upgraded sensors for both ice thickness and water levels. Both of these are easy to remove for maintenance. The front-facing external air filters are also removable. There is also a “hook and latch” system for the front panel, which allows for easy access to the interior of the unit.
The MC0530MA-1 features integrated AgION antimicrobial protection in all surfaces that come into contact with water or ice. An “AutoAlert” indicator panel includes a “BIN FULL” light which will illuminate green when the bin is full. In addition, a sliding door covers the panel’s On-Off-Bluetooth buttons. Each unit also comes with a specific QR code. The evaporator, compressor, and condenser each have a 5-year warranty.
The MC0530MA-1 runs on 115 volts, 60 hertz, and 1-phase. Minimum amps are 15.2A. The machine is UL certified and NSF listed. It is has been designed, engineered, and assembled in the USA.
