The Hoshizaki KM-1100MAJ crescent cube ice machine produces up to 1087 pounds of Hoshizaki's crescent ice every 24 hours (under optimal temperature conditions of 70 degrees Fahrenheit Air and 50 degrees Fahrenheit water). The cuber head is 30 inches wide and therefore fits between other commercial equipment without difficulty. The Hoshizaki KM-1100MAJ is a cuber head only and will require an ice storage bin that it can be mounted on (sold separately). This air-cooled model has air filters at the vents that are easily removed for quick cleaning and replaced quickly for back to standard operation. Electrical requirements are standard 208-230 volt, 60 Hz and 1-phase and the unit only uses 4.9 KWh per 100 pounds of ice produced. The Hoshizaki KM-1100MAJ utilizes Hoshizaki's stainless steel evaporator for efficient, worry-free ice production. Hoshizaki's Cycle Saver design provides the same quantity of ice in half as many ice making cycles as other brands. This means the Hoshizaki KM-1100MAJ goes through fewer condenser and compressor cycles, leading to reduced energy consumption, reduced wear and strain on components, and a longer lasting machine.
