3M SGP195BN-T ScaleGard Hardness Reduction System for Espresso Machine 1 GPM

High quality espresso starts with high quality water. The 3M SGP195BN-T is a single-cartridge water filtration system, specifically designed for hard water applications. This product will reduce hardness, alkalinity and TDS (total dissolved solids) as well as chlorine taste/odor; helping to improve the appearance, consistency, and taste of your espresso and espresso based drinks. This will also reduce hard scale formation of calcium and magnesium on heating coils, using a high capacity weak acid ion-exchange resin.

These water filtration systems use a patented valve-in-head design that makes cartridge change-outs simple. They can shut off and vent water simultaneously. The cartridge design of this water filtration system is a Sanitary Quick Change (SQC), which minimizes the possibility of leakage and contamination while changing cartridges. The 3/8" FNPT horizontal inlet and outlet ports allow for direct or easily adjustable connections to plumbing lines. p>

The SGP195BN-T has a capacity of 1,200 gallons. Works at 9 grains per gallon (4,542 liters at 150 ppm). The flow rate is 1.0 gallons per minute (3.8 liters per minute).
