The 8000 series of water filter cartridges from 3M are available in a many different types of media including graded porosity carbon and granular activated carbon. With micron ratings from 0.5 to 5, this product can help prevent scale and reduce unwanted cyst, bacteria, sediment, and chlorine odor/taste.
The CFS8112 water filter cartridge is designed to reduce sediment and chlorine taste/odor. This product contains a flow rate of up to 1.5 gallons per minute (5.7 liters per minute) with a 1 micron rating. These water filter cartridges use a Sanitary Quick Change (SQC) design, minimizing the possibility of leakage and contamination while changing cartridges.
